Location:
Bend the knee, at the lower border of the knee cap, in the depression lateral to the patellar ligament.
Indication:
For diseases of the knee joint and the soft tissues.
Method:
- With the knee flexed and supported by a rolled pillow:
- Perpendicular insertion, directed towards BL40, 1 to 2 cun;
- Oblique insertion in a medial and superior direction, behind the patella 1 to 2 cun,
- Behind the patellar ligament to join with medial Xiyan.
Remarks:
Good for knee disorders.
