Location:

1.5 cun lateral to the Governor meridian, at the level of the lower border of the spinous process of the fifth lumbar vertebra.

Functions of Guanyuanshu:

  • Regulates lower burner.
  • Strengthens lower back and knee.
  • Transforms damp stagnation.

Indications:

  • Reproductive diosrders:irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhoea,.
  • Urinary disorders: Burning micturition, frequent urination, difficulty urinating.
  • Gastrointestinal disorders: Diarrhoea, constipation, hemorrhoids, abdominal masses.
  • Local disorders: Low back pain, buttock pain, sciatica, sacral pain, Bi leg syndrome.

Method:

Perpendicular insertion 1 to 1.5 cun.

Remarks:

Good for low back problems and disc problems.
