Functions:

Regulates conception and governor vessel.

Indications of Henggu:

Fullness and pain in the lower abdomen, dysuria, enuresis, nocturnal emission, impotence, pain of genitalia.

Method:

Perpendicular insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.

Remarks:

Meeting point of Kidney and Chong Vessel.

Precautions:

  • Avoid deep needling, to prevent urinary bladder injury when full.
  • Avoid in pregnancy.
