Indications of Jugu :
Local problems: pain and motor impairment of the upper extremities, pain in the shoulder and back.
Method :
Perpendicular or oblique (lateral) insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.
Remarks :
Crossing point of Yang-qiao vessel
Precautions :
Avoid deep medial puncturing particularly in thin patients as deep medial insertion carries a risk of causing pneumothorax.
