The collateral of the bladder meridian returns to the body surface from luo-que after linking with the brain.

Chinese Name: 络却
English Name/Meaning: Declining Connection
Pinyin: luò què
Han Geul 한글: nak gak 락각
Romaji: rak kyaku?
Vietnamese: Lạc khước

Location:

5.5 cun directly above the midpoint of the anterior hairline and 1.5 cun lateral to the midline.

Functions of luoque:

  • Brightens eyes.
  • Dispels wind and heat.
  • Calms Shen (Spirit).

Indications:

  • Dizziness, blurring of vision, tinnitus, mania.
  • Depression, mania, seizures, collpase, vomiting.

Method:

Transverse insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.

Precautions:

Do not use moxibustion.
