The point, quanliao is on the raphe of the zygomatic bone.

Location:
On the face, directly below the outer canthus, in the depression on the lower border of the zygomatic bone.
Indications of Quanliao:
- Good for deviation of the mouth and eye, twitching of the eyelids, facial pain toothache, and swelling in the cheeks.
- Trigeminal Neuralgia.
Method:
- Transverse insertion joined to points such as ST-4, ST-7, LI-20, ST-6 etc.
- Perpendicular insertion 0.5 to 0.7 cun.
Precaution:
- Apply pressure after acupuncture to prevent bruising.
- Contraindicated for Moxibustion.
