The Qi of the meridian originating from Tianchi flows downwards like spring water coming from heaven.

Location :
2 cun below the anterior axillary fold, between the two heads of the biceps brachii muscle.
Functions of tianquan:
- Opens chest and regulates Qi.
- Nourishes Heart and calms spirit.
- Transforms blood stasis and relieves pain.
- Reduces cardiac pain.
Indications :
Tianquan is beneficial for cardiac pain, distension of the hypochondriac region, cough, pain in the chest, back and the medial aspect of the arm.
Method :
Oblique insertion distally or proximally along the line of the channel, 1 to 1.5 cun.
