Tianzong means an important point on the upper part of the body.

Location:
In the region of the scapular, in the depression of the center of subscapular fossa, level with the 4th thoracic vertebra.
Indication:
- Tianzhong is mostly used for shoulder pain (most of shoulder pain patients feel very tender in Tianzhong).
- Tianzhong is also beneficial in exterior syndrome: breathing problems.
- Also used in front breast tenderness, Mastitis.
Method:
Puncture perpendicularly 0.5-1 cun.
Precaution:
For thin conditions, oblique puncture is recommended.
