This point lies 7 cun above the tip of the external mallelous, on the anterior border of the fibula.

Functions of Waiqiu:

  • Removes the obstruction from channel.
  • Stops pain.


  • Digestive disorders: Hypochondriac pain, fullness on the chest area.
  • Local disorders: Swollen, pain, numbness, tingling sensation.


Perpendicular insertion 1 to 1.5 cun.
