Yiming is located on the neck, 1 cun posterior to TE17(Yifeng), at the junction of the head and the occiput, posterior to the mastoid bone.

Functions and Indications of Yiming :

• Yiming brightens eyes so is the main point for various eye diseases (myopia, hyperopia, night blindness, optic atrophy, early stage of cataract).
• Also benefits the ears so is good for tinnitus, deafness.
• Calms the spirit so is good for headache, insomnia.

Method :

Perpendicular insertion 0.5-1.0cun.
