Zuwuli is on the lower limbs, 5 cun above the Jimen (SP11).

Location:

3 cun directly below ST30, at the proximal end of thigh, below the pubic tubercle and on the lateral border of m. abductor longus.

Functions:

  • Relax sinews and invigorated channel.
  • Clears damp heat in lower back.

Indications of Zuwuli:

  • Urinary problems: retention of urine, burning sensation
  • Lethargy, sleepiness, scrofula lower abdominal distension and fullness
  • Local disorder: local thigh pain.

Method:

Perpendicular or oblique insertion 0.5 to 1.5 cun.

Remarks:

Good point for local thigh pain.
