Functions:

  • Benefits spleen and dispels damp.
  • Strengthens Lumbar spine.

Indication:

  • Pain in epigastric region, diarrhoea, prolapse of rectum, bloody stool, hemorrhoids.
  • Epilepsy, stiffness and pain of the back.

Method:

Perpendicular insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.

Remark:

Donot apply moxibustion.

Precaution:

The spinal canal lies between 1.25 and 1.75 cun deep to the skin surface, varying according to body build.
