Nomenclature:
Zhi: reaching Yin: yin of yiny-yang
Yin refers to the foot-shaoyin meridian. Zhiyin is the end point of the bladder meridian of Foot-Taiyang. From here it reaches to the foot-shaoyin meridian.
Location:
On the lateral side of the little toe, approximately 0.1 cun lateral from the corner of the nail.
Indications of Zhiyin:
Breech presentation, delayed labour; correct the position of fetus(moxibustion).
Headache, eye pain, nasal congestion, epistaxis
Method:
Puncture perpendicularly 0.1cun.
Use moxibustion for malposition of fetus.
