Nomenclature:

Yin: hidden     Bai: white
Yinbai is in the hidden region where the colour is white.

Point: SP-1
Chinese Name: 隐白
English Name/Meaning: Hidden White
Pinyin: yǐn bái
Han Geul 한글: eun baek 은백
Romaji: im paku
Vietnamese: Ẩn bạch

Location:

On the medial side of the big toe, about 0.1 cun posterior to the corner of the nail.

Indications Of Yinbai:

  • Stop bleeding- especially on the lower parts of the body like uterine bleeding, menorrhea, blood in the stool, blood in the urine.
  • Ghost point – depression, psychosis, profuse dreaming, convulsion.
  • Jing well point-loss of consciousness, fullness below heart, Abdominal distention, tightness in the chest.

Method:

Puncture superficially o.1-0.2cun, prick to bleed or use moxibustion.
