Location:

In the lateral side of the abdomen, anterior to the superior iliac spine, 3 cun below the level of the umbilicus.
OR,
In the depression just anterior to the anterior superior iliac spine, approximately level with RN4 (3 cun below the umbilicus).

Functions of Wushu:

  • Regulates Daimai and uterus..
  • Regulates Liver qi.
  • Resolves dampness in the lower burner.
  • Strengthens lower back and invigorates Kidney.

Indications:

  • Reproductive disorders: leucorrhoea, irregular menstruation, amenorrhea, hernia, burning micturition.
  • Local problems: Lower back pain, hypochondriac pain, constipation.

Method:

Perpendicular insertion 1 to 1.5 cun.

Remarks:

Meeting point of gallbladder and daimai.
